Back online!!!!
Okay, so all I did was type in weelborg as the password in the Google box that we now have to go through and it seemed to work.Justin is doing great!! One day he did 160 push ups to get his 16 letters that he received that day!! He loves them and says it's worth it, so keep on sending them. I love how close and supportive our family is!!He earned a Marksmenship badge with his M16 rifle. He needed to get 23 out of 40 targets to pass and he got 32. Only a few more targets and he would have been in the Expert range.He had two hand to hand combat bouts. First match the drills sergeants pair you up and Justin made his guy tap out, so he won the first match. The next one was what Justin called a grudge match. Anyone who was mad at you or didn't like you, could call you out. Justin went a long time, but finally got 'called' out. It was a guy from a different platoon, outweighed Justin by 20 to 30 pounds, and was an animal. Justin said he watched him during his first match and he just 'throttled' his man. This guy started calling Justin names and the match started. To be continued next time....just kidding!! Justin got him in a 'bent arm hold' and the guy ended up tapping out!! Justin said his drill sergeants were calling him Killer. I'm not sure why this makes me so proud, but it does!! He said that he was the only one in his platoon to execute the 'bent arm hold' correctly. He picked a good time to do it right!Britt's playoffs will be 8:00 p.m. this Saturday in Stewartville against LeRoy. If they win, the would play Lanesboro on Tuesday. Sorry, I can't remember if it is in Stewartville or at the Mayo Civic. She's going in tomorrow morning for an xray and sports med consult regarding her shin splints. Hopefully they can come up with something to help.Ellen
