Blogging back!

Hi everyone. As to John and Pauline's blog (yeah!!) the best phone card system I found is through Spawar. I purchased it online and Justin only needs to dial in the 10 digit code and then the number he is calling. I bought $50 worth, he has used about 3 hours and he still has $45 dollars left on the account! It would be easier if anyone wishing to provide him with phone minutes just to give me the money (it comes in $10, $25, or $50 amounts) and I'll use my debit card to renew this account. That way there is only one code Justin has to remember and I can monitor the account and let people know when it is low. He has been able to call Jacque this last week everyday and talk for about an hour, so he is using it. (Unfortunately that is around 9:30 a.m our time so most people are at work.

As for ideas, he doesn't want any big, bulky items (large books, ect...) because he has very limited space. He has been watching a lot of DVDs and I was able to buy 8 at Big Lots for $14...how's that for shopping?? I think that makes them disposable! Food items I think will be a big hit (beef jerky, sunflower seeds, Lays or Pringles that come in the cans, water flavor packets,
ect...) but mostly he just wants to hear from everybody.

Jacque does get calls from a support officer when there is a fatality in the 101st. The last fatality was someone he knew, though not closely I believe. So keep him in your thoughts and prayers because even though he isn't on 'the front line' he still is going to feel the effects.
