Justin's graduation

Yes, Justin graduated and it was such a wonderful experience. I do have video tape of the graduation (nothing fabulous). To hear all the soldiers bellar out the Soldiers Creed gave me goosebumps. I also have pictures developed (thanks Jacque) and have a few to pass out to everyone. If you would like to stop by and see these and decide if you want more, please feel free. Cort has a tournament Saturday morning in Grand Meadow, but otherwise I should be around home or after work. I did cry as he walked back to his barracks that one last time because I am so proud of his military professionalism and his pride in the Army. He was a little disheartened when he got to Fort Lee in Virginia because his platoon has a lot of trouble makers who really don't care. He said one other from his platoon was there and you could see the difference in motivation and respect. The good news (or bad, depending how you look at it) is that Justin was made Platoon Guide (PG), so he is the leader of all those trouble makers. Hopefully when things get in a routine everything will settle down. I don't have an address yet but he does have his cell phone. He has only certain times to listen, but anyone can leave a message if they would like. His number is 507-421-7600. He wasn't certain yet if he will be there 12 weeks or if they will shorten it to 9 weeks. I'll keep you posted as I plan on having a welcome home party!! Wooo Hooo!!
Ellen
